Kennedy Jokes about Chappaquiddick

August 28, 2009

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, Ted Kennedy blew his opportunity for greatness. When you come from wealth, spend your entire life in the Senate, you have the potential to do great things. However, since his death just two days ago, people have defended him as the greatest politician of our time. I wish the best for his family and do not enjoy his death one bit, but it is important to not distort facts. People are ignoring all of the horrible things he did to make him out to be just short of a god. This audio reinforces that maybe we should just remember him for the good things he did do, but also remember the bad things he did and not glorify him. In fact, this audio might even change your opinion of him.

In fact, with Congress’ approval rating so low, aren’t their paychecks just Cash for Flunkers?
